I have my PS2 (not a slim one) hooked up to a lcd 720p tv and am experiencing a lag from the time the button is pressed on the controller and the action happens on screen. The system is connected with rca cables -- any suggestions?

unfortunately it is most likely your tv converter inside the tv

unless you have it hooked thru other devices

still other devices probably would not do it

there is some type of buffer in the tv circuitry
