Hi,

Been using tons and tons of video converters and codecs but couldn't find one that suits my normal computing.

Usually, I do need these stuffs to convert DVD to Vidix, as well as converting any format (flv, mpg, mov, etc.) to avi (divx or xvid)...

I don't have much time to tweak (bitrate, quality etc), all I want is a straight forward software which can easily do the conversions...

Please advise, money is not a prob...

I am sorry if this question has been always answered... please send link...

Thanks

Try "super" converter it's free, I've used it to batch convert flv files to avi with good results. And it can convert every other type of video files.

But there is no one program that can do everything perfectly.

I use fairuse 2.5 (free) to convert dvd to AVI because it keeps my videos in sync everytime.

I use Winavi converter to batch convert my mpeg2's that I record from my tv tuner card to AVI because of the speed and quality. And I also use it to convert my AVI's to DVD because of the speed. This program I had to buy, but it was worth the cost.

those are my recommendations, I use all 3 programs and found them to be reliable and fairly easy to use. Most of the times I use the default settings and don't bother with bitrates.
