I was thinking of getting a wii or 360 for chrismas.I like racing games a lot!what do you think I should get?
Also,I'm posting a post on the 360 section.the price doesn't matter.you can only choose between the wii or 360.

Do graphics matter to you?
How old are you?
Do you like interactive things or sedentary things?
I would get an Xbox 360 for racing games, but that doesn't mean you should.

THANKS FOR REPLYING!!!!!If they are decent graphics that's alright.I'm 13 years old but i'm into racing sims a lot!I like any racing games that are fun not just sims or arcade racers.Maybe the Xbox 360 has better graphics?

360 has way better graphics and always will. If you like racing though, a PS3 will come out with the new gran turismo, i'm not sure if the 360 will have it but if you want the best hard core sim out there, get whatever system that will have the new gran turismo.

depends. if you like hardcore games. the 360 by far. but if you like kiddie games or just the clasic mario or zelda. the wii. your choice

Comparing the two is like comparing apples and oranges. There is no way that the Wii can compare in graphics to the 360, and it never will. So if graphics matter, then go with the 360. The Wii though, is a lot of fun because of the interaction. Not to mention you get the line of Mario, Smash Brothers, Metroid, and Zelda games. It realy does come down to preferance. I have both and am very satisfied with both for different reasons. Hope it helps.

yeah,I should get a xbox 360.The xbox is going to have more racing sims than ps3 and the ps3 has little entertaining games.on the road of the wii,I think it's not going to have as much graphical power a sim would have.THANKS AGAIN!!!

dont forget that forza 2 is only on the 360.And lets not forget test drive is also a great game.and more is on the way.

If you really are a racing Sim kind of guy then there is absolutely no equal to Gran Turismo. But that is all about preferance....GT is the reason I have a PS3, nothing comes close.

Yeah, I should get a ps3(when they lower their price ,DAMN IT!!!)because i really enjoyed GT4 with the racing wheel.it in the meantime, I think the Xbox 360 will be better because there are more racing games coming out for Xbox 360 than the Wii(which has only ONE!!!).

but, playing PGR on live is something else. I mean really, it is addictive.
The big problem for xbox360 at the moment is reliability, however, microsoft have a lot of funds to overcome this problem. The consoles, upto yet, just don't last long at all. :( I can think of a few people who are on their fourth one.
But for quality of the actual game, my guess is that it wins 99% of the time. The other 1% is the odd jewel in the wii crown. As for PS3, the answer "Why?" springs to my mind.
wii = fun, lots of it, but at low specs.

yes indeed the 360 has flaws but dont worry too much MS will take care of that.the 3 ring of death is now under a three year warrenty and most of the new repairs they updateing the hardware in your 360 with a new heatsink.now i know that seems dumb to buy a consaole that you know have flaws but its also nice to know if it do break down that it will get fixed.and just to let you know not all 360s are trash i hade mine since launch and no problems you might get a really good unit.and if it do break turn around on the repair is not that bad.

I was a PS2 kind of guy myself. So I would have liked the XBox better. But I have been playing with my brothers Wii for the past 2 months and the wife finally told me to go out and buy one and it is the best. The fun factor is really there to where its hard to put down the controller. I like the Wii dude...and who knows they might come out with a mario cart :)
