would the psp still be popular in like 3 years or would you think that sony will make a better multimedia handheld than a psp?(cant think of a better console than the psp :P)i'm just curious.this is psp general discussion...right?

Yeah everyone knows that...and that's including me.i mean like in 2 years time will they make a better handheld than the psp slim and lite?as i said,i'm just curious.
The PSP (in my opinion) will likely have content around for at least another 2 years if not 3+, although I think UMD movies have officially failed to take off at this point.
Sony has a record for reverse compatibility though if that makes you feel better, and the few systems they made that didn't really take off where only upgraded versions of existing consoles such as the PSX.
On a side note, I'm referring to the actual console called the PSX which was a PS2 with a DVD burner, not the original Playstation.
But then, this is all merely conjecture, none of us read the future.
