Dear all,

I have a dell xps M1210 laptop with an internal Sony DVD+-RW DL DW-Q58A.

I have a problem that my DVD ROM not reading any DVD- ( minus) CDs.

any help or suggestions pls

Looks like the drive will support both + and - R media, do you have any problems using +R?

If you have ASPI installed check to make sure that it isn't corrupt.

XP doesn't need it, but if it there and corrupt you can see sporatic results such as what you are experiencing.

I did everything on the website, i just have to try the DVD again,
