dear all,

I would like to ask you some questions about modded xbox360 and old xbox game. I just got a xbox360 and will get it mod soon. I wonder if my xbox360 can play copied old xbox game, such as ninja gaiden or ninja gaiden black ??

Anyone has experience about this issue, please share with me.

the 360 will play backups of the old xbox but they must be made for the 360 using the orig game, in other words the 360 wont play backups made for the old xbox.
you must have the orig game and make a backup specifically for the 360.

trust me, if you have an old Xbox that plays them then use it. You will gain nothing from playing them on the 360. Plus making them will cost you a bundle so you REALLY have to want to play them. You could buy an Xbox for what the Samsung DVD-Rom with Kreon firmware and DVD+R DL discs are going to cost you.
Example: Xbox will run about $100 most, and about $35 to mod it

Samsung drive (SH-D162C or SH-D163A) will cost you about $50
DVD+R DL discs (Verbatim) will cost you about $35-$40 for 20 of them.
Plus the cost of renting the original game if you do not own it ($8 each)


Also the game you want to play must be on the backwards compatibility list, if not then the 360 will not play it.
