Upgrade to firmware 3.52 M33, then you can run ISOs and CSOs straight from the menu.
Place them in your ms0:/ISO/ folder (Make it) and then you can run them from the "game" icon on your PSP menu.

Well, the software isn't fake--it is just really old.
The newest games that I believe Devhook (the software you are referring to) can play is 3.03. With custom firmware, you can still play all of your homebrew from 1.50 and play all of the new games that require 3.52 firmware.
Please trust us; I was very adamant about not upgrading from 1.50 because I thought the custom firmware craze would die down after dark alex left. Much to my surprise, team m33 managed to prove me wrong. Besides, if you don't like it, you can always go back to 1.50.

Same with me, when custom firmware's started coming out, i kept with DevHook 'til i really needed to upgrade :)
But like all things some day, DevHook is now outdated and no new versions have been made for a while, update, and you'll find it's a lot better than 1.50.

On 1.50, make sure you have told the Winstaller to copy over the kxploit files as well, as the PSP has to be "patched" with the Kxploit Permanent Patcher. Then you can run the 3.52 M33 update.

First make sure your battery % level is at 75% or higher and your PSP is plugged in.
You need to run KXploit Permanent Patcher first. (The corrupt data file is fine. It is supposed to be there)
After you run the KXploit Permanent Patcher it should say Patched successfully and then reboot back to the PSP menu.
Make sure you have downloaded the 1.50 and 3.52 firmware and renamed them to 150.PBP and 352.PBP and placed them in the M33CREATOR folder. Then transfer the M33CREATOR folder over to the /PSP/GAME folder.
Now go to Game Menu memory Stick and run the M33CREATOR.
After the M33CREATOR has rebooted back to the PSP Menu go to game Menu memory Stick and run the 3.52 M33 UPDATE. This will install the firmware.

You should upgrade to 3.52 m33-4 now. This is simple and only takes a few.
You had to update to the base 3.52 m33 first but now need to update to the #4 update.
Start off by formating your Memory Stick so you don't mix up the other files you used installing the 3.52 m33 core firmware.
Download 3.52 m33-4 HERE.
Now extract the 3.52 M33-4 update.
It will extarct a M33-1234a folder. Inside that folder click on PSP then GAME150 which will bring you to a M33Update4 folder.
Drag that folder to your PSP Memory Stick in the ms0:/PSP/GAME150 folder.
You should now have a directory of ma0:/PSP/GAME150/M33Update4/EBOOT.PBP
Now go to Game menu Memory Stick and run the update.
Make sure your at 3.52 M33-4 if you are format the memory Stick 1 last time.
Your ISO/CSO PSP games go into the ms0:/ISO folder

PSX EBOOTs = PS1 games, converted for use with the PSP.
PRXs = Special plugins, you don't need to worry about these.

Did you update to 3.52 M33-4?
Also make sure the below steps are taken to get your ISO files working properly...
Make sure the title of the ISO/CSO is short.
Example:
Correct -- Fifa07.iso
Not Correct -- FIFA-07-[PSP][EUR][www.torrent site.com].iso
-------------------------------------------------------------------
Now right click on the ISO/CSO file and choose Properties. Make sure the Read Only and Hidden box is unchecked and the Archive Box is checked.
-------------------------------------------------------------------
Go into recovery mode (Hold R shoulder button down while turning on PSP)
Now go to configuration then to UMD MODE and keep pressing X till you see Sony NP9660 NO UMD.
When it is set to the above setting go to BACK and press X.
Now go to ADVANCED and press X.
Go to ADVANCED CONFIGURATION and press X.
Make sure all the settings here are disabled.
Now EXIT out of recovery.
Now try the ISO/CSO.
Put the gamboy advance Emulator and ROMS in the /PSP/GAME150 folder.

Either follow the directions or don't it is up to you.
You should update to 3.52 M33-4.
Whats up with members asking for help and when you give it to them they question what you have told them to do.

3.52 M33-4 fixes issues that 3.52 M33 has. So update to it which only takes a few minutes.
Then follow the above steps I gave to get your ISO/CSO files running properly.
Quote: all i wont is 2 find out how 2 play my iso games thats all
All i did was tell you how to do that.
