I've read everything I need to know about downloading an .iso for my psp... so far here's what I've done.

I created legendofmana.iso using Auto Popstation4 WITH the keys.bin file and the eboot.pbp file in the folder, and that is in my PSP/GAME folder.

I have updated to FW 3.03oe-a and i have enough memory to run and save the game Legend of Mana.

BUT

I received error C3000005 even after having the KEYS.BIN and EBOOT.PBP file in the legendofmana.iso folder in the correct place. (PSP/GAME)

When that doesn't happen, the error changes to 800200D9, but that's rare. Does anyone know what to do? Because I've read every forum and topic on this available on the web and I KNOW im doing everything correctly. Thanks

I doubt that it will matter but change the legendofmana.iso folder to just legendofmana take off the .iso then place it in your /PSP/GAMES folder.

I don't know much about 3.03 oe-a but it should be similar to 3.40 OE-A.

Go into recovery menu and see if there is an option under configuration to change the kernel for the GAME FOLDER. If it is set at 1.50 then you will need to change it to 3.03 or whatever kernel it has listed other then 1.50.

If you don't know how to go into recovery mode (Hold R shoulder button down while turning on the PSP)

If that doesn't work then go to 3.40 OE-A or even up to the newest CFW 3.52 M33-4. 3.52 M33-4 has a popsloader plugin for PSX games with pops version 3.00 through 3.52 which can be helpful when playing PSX games that might not be able to be played using the CFW kernel that you are on.

On another note, it doesn't go in the PSP/GAME folder, you need to make another folder inside of GAME. For example:

x:/PSP/GAME/Legend of Mana/EBOOT.PBP & KEYS.BIN

I've done everything.. its in PSP/GAME/Legendofmana.iso/EBOOT.PBP and KEYS.BIN... im version 3.03oe-a.. i just dont know why it wont work!.. im afraid i might have something extra in my psp folder keeping me from playing.. so here are my files..

Try updating to 3.52 M33-4

3.52 M33 HERE

3.52 M33-4 HERE

3.52 firmware HERE

1.50 firmware HERE

Download the 3.52 M33 CFW linked above. Extract the file.

Download both the 1.50 and 3.52 firmware. You need to re-name the 3.52 firmware to 352.PBP the 1.50 firmware to 150.PBP. Then add them to the M33CREATOR folder.

Now copy the M33CREATOR folder and the kxploitpatcher and kxploitpatcher% folders to the PSP MS directory of ms0:/PSP/GAME folder.

Now go to Game Menu Memory Stick and run the KXploit Permanent Patcher. It should run and say patched successfully and reboot back to the XMB.

Now go to game Menu Memory Stick and run the M33CREATOR.

After you run the M33CREATOR it should reboot back to the XMB. It should have created a 3.52 M33 update which you need to select in the Game Menu Memory Stick.

It will flash the files to the PSP and you should be at 3.52 M33 firmware. If it is then format your MS.

Now extract the 3.52 M33-4 update.

Drag the PSP folder that is in the update M33-4 into the root of the MS overwriting the files when it asks you to. Now go to Game Menu Memory Stick and run the m33-4 update. This will only take a few seconds.

After the update is finished check and make sure it says 3.52 M33-4 for firmware. If it does say 3.52 m33-4 then format the MS 1 more time.

You are now updated to 3.52 M33-4.

800200D9 = failed to allocate the memory block
I'm not quite sure what that means or how to fix it, but I suggest attempting larry's method first. If you still need help afterwards, I'll dig deeper for a solution.
