I'm thinking about buying one of the new PSP slims. I've never had a psp before. I heard that you can't get full resolution video played from the memory stick on stock firmware. Is this still true?

If not, what programs will convert mpeg2 files to h.264/avc files in full resolution(480x272)?

Full resolution video playback has been around since 3.30+

What are the best programs to use to convert dvd video to psp480x272?

I'm not just looking for free programs. I just want to know what others think is the best, free or not.

Can anyone recommend a good program that will convert dvd video to full 480x272 resolution?

I've heard about a few, but what does everyone here use?

I use PSPvideo9, its slow for large files, but the quality isn't bad, full resolution, and it's free. I think there are probably better ones out there, but i havn't really searched.
