okay well i will tell you that you can also downgrade from 2.81 but anyways. rename the file to EBOOT.PBP ... in your psp memory stick the folders should look like this (this is where u place ur eboot)...(dunt worry this isnt a folder this is just showing u are in your memory stick)------>ms0:/PSP/GAME/UPDATE/EBOOT.PBP <----this is where u paste your file. so basicaly make a new folder inside your memory stick called PSP and inside that make a folder called GAME and inside that make a folder called UPDATE and thats where u paste your files. or simply format your memory stick with your psp and itll make the files for you. ur not being thick lol...its good to ask questions and post problems...thats how we learn, bro.

If a member is having the same issue here is how we fixed it.

The 3.03 update was placed on the MS as follows ms0:/PSP/GAME/UPDATE/EBOOT.PBP but it would always come up as corrupt in the Game Menu.

The fix was bringing the EBOOT.PBP file from the UPDATE folder to the GAME folder. So the directory was ms0:/PSP/GAME/EBOOT.PBP and it finally let the UPDATE run correctly.

Have no idea why it worked like that. But at least it worked. LOL

I use the /PSP/GAME/UPDATE/EBOOT.PBP directory to update.

But for some reason every time he created that directory it said the update was corrupt.

I even created the directory making sure everything was correct and uploaded it so he could download it and transfer it to the root and it still said corrupt data.

So I said the heck with it bring the EBOOT.PBP to the /PSP/GAME directory and try it that way and it worked.
