alrite so i just got a 2gig for my birthday and i wanted to make sure how to play ISOs. of course i searched the forums and in google, but everywhere i check it says a different method. o yea and also i would really appreciate if u could give me a site that gives u raw ISOs or CSOs(no .rar or torrents) cuz my computer won't let download Winrar or a torrent unzipper i guess u could call it.

we cant link you to what youre looking for...its not that hard to play and im sure everywhere tells u the ssame. COPY YOUR ISO/CSO INTO THE ISO FOLDER. LAUNCH WITH IR SHELL/PSP XMB...and enjoy.

to get cso/iso files, you will have to use torrents. it's the main source to find huge files. it's gonna be rare to find a site that has cso/iso unpacked.
iso/cso go into the ISO folder in the root of the memory stick; ms:\ISO.

when i download the iso it asks for a password and i cant drag it to psp iso

I doubt you will ever find i decent psp iso/cso download just floating around.
Best way to get Iso's is to download
"Bit Torrent" once you have bittorrent, go to google and type the game you are looking for just like this example>
In google> "psp torrent killzone"
you will find a bunch of site with the torrent, look for the one which has heaps of downloads and helps of seeders, then click download and the killzone.iso will download in bittorrent.
leave it to download overnight, and in the morning you will have a new game, and all you do is copy it to your iso folder in your psp.
its so easy it makes me sick knowing others cant do it...

What firmware are you running on your PSP?
I see no mention of what type of firmware you are running. Do you have official firmware? Do you have custom firmware? If you have custom firmware what custom firmware is it?

the easiest way to get iso's working, is to try the method i said, if your using broadband your downlaods should at least get 20KBS which means every second it downloads 20 kilobytes...
so it would take about 5 hours to download a 600MB Psp game.
once you have downlaoded a psp game you have to extract the contents of the game, only if its packed in some sort of .zip or .rar format..
cause you want to get Iso or cso from the packed file...
but anyway, once you have the iso/cso file you canjust put it in your psp's iso folder.
but you have to have custom firmware to play iso's from your memorystick.
i highly recommend installing 3.52 M33 firmware.. goodluck

slow flippin broadband ur talkin bout, i usually average 352Kbs and i'm just on the 2nd branch of the broadband. goes upto 10Megs/s here but still depending on how many seeders it could take a while, oh and here's a tip if ur gunna torrent, don't hit and run.

I get speeds up 500kbps. But usually only on the private trackers. If your using public trackers then it will be slower. To many users limit there upload speed to 5kbps which sucks for overall torrent speed.
You get on a Private tracker, users are pretty much made to seed back or you will be banned.

Nothing happened, links to torrent sites (Not actual files), and talking about torrents/P2P programs has always been permitted.

I would update to 3.52 M33-4. Then follow the simple steps that I have provided below to get the ISO/CSO to work properly.
Make sure the title of the ISO/CSO is short.
Example:
Correct -- Fifa07.iso
Not Correct -- FIFA-07-[PSP][EUR][www.torrent site.com].iso
-------------------------------------------------------------------
Now right click on the ISO/CSO file and choose Properties. Make sure the Read Only and Hidden box is unchecked and the Archive Box is checked.
-------------------------------------------------------------------
Go into recovery mode (Hold R shoulder button down while turning on PSP)
Now go to configuration then to UMD MODE and keep pressing X till you see Sony NP9660 NO UMD.
When it is set to the above setting go to BACK and press X.
Now go to ADVANCED and press X.
Go to ADVANCED CONFIGURATION and press X.
Make sure all the settings here are disabled.
Now EXIT out of recovery.
Now try the ISO/CSO.

im not rich! i live in newzealand, so 20kbps for a torrent download is good enough for me!!!
why the *bleep* should i move to the united states to get 500kbps? im not sum rich as know it all you know.
i work hard for the things i own!

BTW 20KBps is just my usual speed when downlaoding psp torrents, if i prehaps download a 700mb PC game i get about 50KBPS
if i download a song from ares i get 200KBPS
and if i download any sort of application software using my internet browser, i get any where between 100KBPS to 500KBPS
my speed is never the same it depends on different things.
but my connection can handle 10 MBPS, but my phone line can only handle 5MBPS.
and yes i think you should update to M33, i had 3.40 OE-A but it wouldnt run the good games for my psp, so i got 3.52 m33 now i can run any game for my psp.
3.40 is only good if your gonna be playing PSX games, cause i heard m33 doesnt play PSX games that well... but it is a psp not a psx

He needs to be banned for a bit. Maybe then he will be a little more mature and respectful in the forum.
Plus he said he uses broadband. If your using broadband you should be able to get a better speed then 20kbps. You probably don't have the correct ports opened and forwarded like they should be for torrents.
