After doing some more research, I can call this case busted with the following outcome: fake!
Here's my reasoning. Notice above that Daisuke, aka Sephiroth1738, said he posted this in many other places, including Maxconsole.

Note the last post.
Now, I don't have a whole lot of respect for DAX's superiority complex, but he knows what he's talking about when it comes to the PSP. The refs have reviewed the play and I think we can call it for the opposing team. Sorry, Daisuke, but you've contradicted yourself so much over the various forums that your statements just aren't trustworthy.

they are just lamers wanting attention like someone said in the forum on the linkyou posted they can't access flash(0) but they can make a firmware lol,i knew this was bull from the word go.
if you all want a new firmware just wait for m33 to make one

But if m33 makes one, you can't get to 3.71 to 3.71 m33 directly, can you? you need to downgrade and upgrade again, isn't that right?

I got 2 questions:
- Do you need to downgrade and upgrade to get 3.71 to 3.71_TAF?
- Will you be able to play PSX games on 3.71_TAF?

3.71-taf looks like it's fake so i think a better question would be.....

Well i know you need to downgrade and upgrade to get 3.71m33
The problem is i can't downgrade, cause i just bought my psp, and its 3.71. I need a way to get CFW working without downgrading so I can play psx on psp.

well we could not get full contact with Team AoP so things are starting to go down hill. We have accessed flash0 very long ago and have started development but it is not turning out. It wasn't a fake just might get flunked.

well i downloaded a Pandora's Box and it works i can see the folders.... but when i click the 3.52M333 firmware in the GAME MENU it says "the game could not be started. (80020148)" same also with the pandora's battery creator.... and then when i try the KXploit Permanent Patcher, it shutsdown, i mean it turn off.... THE ONE IM USING IS PSP SLIM

3.52m33 won't work on a slim,you need 3.60m33
@xdaisydukex just tell the truth there was never any new custom firmware you were just enjoying the tiny amount of attention you were getting,
