can any one tell me any way of upgrading my psp V3.03 to any other custom version becouse i want to put iso games in it.
please give me any version that will make iso games work on my psp.

i have a gta unpatched version .
but i want to know if i can upgrade to any custom firmware without downgradimg to 1.5 and then to any custom .
i want to upgrade straight from 3.03 to a custom version

no sorry you need to downgrade to 1.50 first then upto a custom firmware

no problem glad to help,the best custom firmware is 3.52m33-4,it is the latest one,it has a built in umd ripper and the ability to run iso,s without a umd in the drive ,so just downgrade to 1.50 then let me know that you have done it you can either post it here or you can send me a private message (just click the little head in the top right hand corner of my posts) once you let me know i can then help you get upto 3.52m33-4

it would be easier to use the guide in the link i posted above,that has everything you need including the downgrader
-2.81 - 3.03 Any Motherboard
Files Needed
3.03 Downgrade files - Mirror
1.50 UPDATE
Optional files
3.03 UPDATE
Have your battery at 75% or higher and your charger plugged in during this Guide.
1. Update to 3.03 if already on 3.03 go on to the next step
2. Open the 3.03 downgrade file (303dg.zip) and copy the psp folder to the root of your memory stick. Example Image
Note: Don't copy the PSP folder into the MP_ROOT folder
Spoiler for Example:
3. Open the 1.5 update zip and rename the EBOOT.PBP to UPDATE.PBP then copy it to /PSP/GAME/UPDATE/
Make sure not to overwrite PSP/GAME/UPDATE/EBOOT.PBP
Spoiler for Example:
4. Load GTA LCS
5. It should get to loading save game, clear the screen, the screen should fill with a light blue color and then reset the PSP
(If this does not happen see below)
6. Check that HEN is running by going to system settings then System Information and it should show up as system version 303 HEN
7. If it is showing up as 3.03 HEN then go to the Game menu and run the x.yz update
8. Before the downgrader does anything to your PSP it will ask for you to agree to what it is doing
If you no longer want to continue press the Right Shoulder Button (R-TRIGGER).
9. Once you have agreed to start the downgrade do not unplug the PSP
10. Once finished the PSP will ask you to press X, after pressing it will reset it self. (If it don't reset press O instead)
11. If a blue screen (BSOD) comes up saying that the settings are corrupt press X or O to continue.
12. Enjoy the new 1.5 PSP

Hey wot, i was and still am a newbie, just do as sicdude says, follow the links u got no probs dude.
dont try and u dont get it, its just a thing of life, 3.71 m33-2, gotta move with time, don't be left behind, b'cos uhave no1 to back u up!! Think about it

dude ok first up grade to the highes firm but not m33 then downgrade to 1.05 then get the game GTA or luminis and then run the update then upgrade to m33 i got the game at a game spot and for all you noob's this aint illegal

ok if he updates to the highest firmware which is 3.71 there is no way he can downgrade without a pandora battery so that really ould not help him at all

the highest you can go (without needing a pandora battery to downgrade) is 3.50fw

i upgraded my psp from 1.5 to 3.52 m33 how can i make it 3.52 m33-4
my insolation files says 3.52 m33 -4 but in the my version says 3.52 m33 .
when i insalled the verion i only put the 3.52 m33 creator .
can any one please help me to get to 3.52 m33 - 4
