i finally figured out how to get my onboard sata to detect my drive, the problem im having is using iprep, im following text's book guide but im now stuck, ive managed to get the drive to the end of dumping the original firmware, reading.....finished! datasum whatever, opc sum 0 , according to the guide it says samtool will now check if a valid key exists in both your original and hacked firmware but it doesnt it just says please reboot your pc, i have tried it several times now and i get the same, however the first time i did it i checked the backup directory on my removable disk and i had the original and hacked firmware in there 256kb each as should be but i was afraid to use the hacked firmware to flash as samtool hadnt validated the keys, now when i dump the original firmware i only get original firmware in the backup directory and no hacked firmware, is there a manual command i can use for samtool to check the keys if i manage to get both original and hacked firmware again, also i am using a floppy drive as i dont have a removeable usb device, could this be the problem ?, somebody please before i rip my hair out.
