I'm completely new at this, and I've never done this before, so I'd appreciate help a lot.
I'm trying to use Nero to copy a video that's about 1.2 gigs. It's on a DVD+R disk that has 4.7 GB's of memory. I saved it onto the hard drive and tried to copy it onto a blank 4.7 gig DVD-R disk but Nero couldn't even detect the blank disc, help? T.T

Read this Guide. It might Help.

http://www.dvdplusvideo.com/Guides/Burni...%20Nero%206.pdf

Nero will not Burn Copyrighted DVDs with out help from External programs.

You can get other how to guides and all the programs you will need here.

I would Download

DVDFab HD Decrypter 3.1.8.0 (Free)

http://www.dvdfab.com/free.htm

Shrink

http://www.afterdawn.com/software/video_.../dvd_shrink.cfm

Imgburn

http://www.imgburn.com/

Use DVDFab HD Decrypter to Copy the Video to your Hard drive. Use Shrink to Make it fit on Your DVD and Imageburn to burn it to the Blank DVD.

Have you tried to use Nero's 'Copy Entire disc' function (straight off the disc)? If you have only one drive Nero will create an image then prompt you for a blank.

Looking for a new burner? Check here.
