I bought a 360 from ebay and it was supposed to have the three red lights, but when i got it it turned right on, but it wont read games, it will play movies but that is it. so how would i fix this?

More than likely a laser problem but it could also be a couple of other things. The first thing i would do before spending any money is to pull the firmware off the drive and make sure dvd drive key isnt all FF's or blank. If it looks pretty random then i would say its safe to say you could buy a laser and get it working.

well i just spoke to tech support at microsoft, they said its a problem related to the 3 red lights. so i can send it in and get it fixed for free. and get this, i actually got a guy that is american.
