yes but you will need a pandora battery,you will need someone with 1.50 or custom firmware on their psp to make it for you

rapid share always makes me wait 30+ mins b4 letting me download....
but ill wait it out thanks.
ps after i do this i can use my battery and mem stick again right?

yes if you do this
If you only have one battery and want to unbrick/downgrade your PSP, you can.
1) Convert your battery into a jigkick one using "Pandora's Battery Creator", but before you press X, press TRIANGLE to backup your battery's EEPROM to ms0:/eeprom.bin
2) Unbrick your PSP as normal
3) When you are done unbricking, take out the battery and the magic memory stick. Start up the PSP using the AC adaptor (do not try to use a USB charger, it will not start up)
4) Insert the magic memory stick and the magic battery
5) Run "Pandora's Battery Creator" again
6) Press L+R to restore the ms0:/eeprom.bin to your battery
NOTE: You can also restore a battery without having made a backup, by pressing SQUARE at step 6. This will generate a fake serial for your battery (0x12345678) which allows it to work normally, but there could be side-effects.

My friend has got a psp with custom f/w. i really want custom f/w and i have got a psp v 3.71. if i put his battery and memory card in my psp will there be any effects?
I know its a stupid question lol

i no this is stupid but can't you take the version upadate like 2.82 that is saved on the memorystick and send it to someone that has version 3.71 and downgrade it like that?

hey yall i was reading the threads and got confused, ivev down and upgraded my 2.7 T-a82 to a 3.40 0e and i frickin lost my PSP on the bus...so i got a new 1(not the slim) and it is version 3.71, the threads tellin me i need a pandora battery and magic stk...? what is that where can i get it?

Alright, someone correct me if I'm wrong, I'm not new to the PSP homebrew scene, but I am new to this Pandora's Battery concept.
From what I understand, basically you need to find someone who has a homebrew PSP, they can then turn their battery (or yours) into a Pandora battery, along with a file on the memory stick.
You then insert the Pandora Battery into your PSP along with the memory stick and it will act as a unbricking program that will uninstall/install 1.5 on your PSP.
Then you can turn the Pandora Battery back into a normal battery and get rid of the file on the memory stick, and voila. You have 1.5 and the homebrew person is as good as before. Right? I'm going to be trying this today to help out a friend who's buying a PSP.

i have the sony 3.71 firmeware. idownloaded all the stuff you told me to onto my psp. but when i look in the game section i isee pandoras battery, the m33 firmeware, and the KXpliot patcher but one this is corrupted. and when i try to use any of the things you told me to download onto my sps it says "the game could not be started (8002014c)" what do i do. ive been trying to download this thig for like ever. PLEASEEEEEEEEEEE HELP MEEEEEEEEEE!!!!!!!!!!!!!

If you had read properly you need a PSP running custom firmware or 1.50 to create the files.

I now have two memory sticks i have a 2gb and a 1gb and i only have on battery. I don't know anyone who has custom Firmware. can i still downgrade by myself?
