STEP BY STEP TO DOWNLOADING AND BURNING XBOX360 GAMES

STEP1: Make sure your xbox360 has been flashed or chipped to play copied games.
STEP2: Download the free bitlord 1.1 or witchever bit torrent engine you prefer. also get IMG BURN and WINRAR they are also free to download.
STEP3: goto WWW.TORRENT.COM and WWW.TORRENTS.TO/ bookmark these sites they are the two best torrent sites ive found.
STEP4: xbox360 games should be between 5.00GB-6.80GB Once you started downloading your game can take anywhere from 12 hours to a week to finish depending on connection speed and number of seeders.
STEP5: once downloaded extract with winrar it should be a ISO file. sometimes theres a DVD file also but you dont need that. sometimes after you extract the ISO file it becomes a VIDEO TS AND AUDIO TS file. these wont work. a good tip if this happens is to just uninstall winrar. the VIDEO TS will then become a ISO file. then install winrar again and repeat if needed.
STEP6: make sure you have a dual layer burner and some 8.5GB DUAL LAYER DISCS. open IMGBURN at the mode option at top of screen make sure that write is checked. Goto tools then settings then write. on the right hand side you see Layer break (for DL Media) pick user specified and in the Sectors in LO box type 1913760. this is the layer break code keep this number safe. press ok. now back at main page of IMGBURN click the little browse for a file folder. select the ISO file. sometimes a error message will come up or a message saying wrong file. ignore these and press ok. press the two discs at the bottom to start burning. uncheck verify first otherwise it will be twice as long. check the eject tray box. the burn should start after about 50 seconds. It takes 40 mins to finish.
STEP7: put game in xbox360 and enjoy

you dont need to burn at 2.4x, most people burn at 4x, its faster and works just as well if not better. other than that, i think the guide is fine, but it shouldnt take 12 hours to DL a game, on average i can get a game withing 5 hours assuming im not the very first person to DL it.

as wabashman said, burn @ x4 and it will still work fine.
Not sure what connection you have to take 12 hours to a week to download though!

Try using news groups, get a game in 1hr 40 minutes!!! connection speeds of 1mb +, currently downloading at 1.4mb!
giganews!!! way to go
**before doing this though you need to own the game**

Great tut duckula26. You wouldn't happen to know how to stealth patch games for ixtreme firmware 1.2c would you? Thanx in advance. Oh btw, Has anyone had any experience burning 360 games with Vista? Anything I should know about that?

just use image burn and make sure you set the layerbreak correctly and all will burn fine.

This seems more like a rough recap or something rather than a step by step. This could never be used as a real tutorial or anything and may only really make sence to people who already know what they are doing. Appritiate the effort though. But "1. Download Game 2.Extract game 3. Burn game to dual layer disc" is not exactly step by step. Sooo many steps left out but like I said is a nice recap of kinda how you do it. We all figured out how to do it with the tutorial already posted so no new ones are really needed unless it is covering new drives or methods. I'm sounding like a jerk but I am not trying to be. Anyways thanks for the effort.
