hands down... I think 3.03oe-c is the best... that's just my opinion, because everything works for me.
 PSP(+[phat]%): 2.60 OFW-> PB-> 1.50-> 3.03 OE-C-> 3.40 OE-A
PSP(+[slim]%): 3.72 OFW-> PB-> 3.71 M33-2-> 3.80 M33-> 3.90 M33-> PB-> 3.71 M33-2-> 3.71 M33-4-> 3.80 M33-> 3.80 M33-5 This message has been edited since posting. Last time this message was edited on 27. September 2007 @ 17:13

If you went to 3.52 M33-4 everything would work for you as well. If you install it correctly.
3.03 OE is old news. 3.40 OE-A would be better then 3.03 OE-C

yeah I tend to stick to a lot of the old stuff.... but I also have been thinking to switch over to M33, but for now I'll stick with 3.03oe, I don't know why, I just feel comfortable with it.

Can any one give the me the tips how to install the 3.52, My PSP on 3.4 OE-A so larrylje could you plz show me the way i am really new here and i dont know any thing about firmware. you explaind how to upgrade from 1.5 to 3.52 could you show me how to upgrade from 3.40 OE-A to 3.50.

I recommend you downgrade back to 1.50 then do a clean install of 3,52 M33-4.
Below is how to recover back to 1.50...
Download this RECOVERY file.
Extract the file which will extract a RECOVERY folder. Now connect the PSP to PC via USB. Place the RECOVERY folder in the /PSP/GAME folder of the PSP Memory Stick.
Now go to recovery menu.
Do this by turning off the PSP. Hold the power button up till the power led turns off. Now hold the R shoulder button down and keep it down while turning the PSP on.
The Recovery menu should come up. When it does select the option "RUN PROGRAM AT /PSP/GAME/RECOVERY/EBOOT.PBP follow the on screen instructions and it will downgrade your PSP back to 1.50 firmware (After it downgrades you might get a blue screen with a bunch of text. If you get this screen just hit O and the PSP will reboot and you will need to enter your settings).
Go to the System Settings then system information and make sure it says 1.50 before continuing below.
If it says 1.50 then go to the previous page and use that guide to update to 3.52 M33-4 CFW.

Hi everyone

I just upgrad it to the 3.52 M33-4 but when i start any game like Metal slug and when i shoot it shoots down, i can turn lift and right but i cant aim up and shoot, simeler with burn out when i start the game and when i want to add new user it keep turning right all the time i cant tayp any thing. if any one know how to solve this problem plz let me know.
and to let you know those games i am traying are UMD DISC Not ISO.

Larry I was wondering could you help me, find out what is the original firmware my PSP came with? I just bought a PSP off ebay a couple days ago. It came with 2.71 firmware, I want to update to the firmware you guys are discussing in the thread from M33. The motherboard is IC-1003, I believe I read the other day that motherboard can be downgraded to the stock firmware the 1st PSP's came with. The model number is PSP-1001. I'm just looking for some help on that, cause I want to update to the M33 firmware, so I can play ISO's and run Emulator's.
I'm new to PSP scene. I read up on it a little, but it will be my 1st time going through the processes, so I want to make sure I do everything right. If you could help me out with how to go about all that, it would be much appreciated. Thanks in advance.
