I've searched the net and found that some people have a similar problem to the one I have. Simply put some iso's I've put into the ISO folder on the root of the ms arn't showing up in the game xmb. I've tried changing settings, re-backing up and downloading my games and still nothing but like I said before some iso's do work and some don't, the ones that do are under 300mb and the ones that arn't are 700mb+. I don't know if there's a reason or that certain sized games don't work or if it's something else, any ideas?

MS: 2GB
Any other Hombrew: GPSP

Maybe try downloading the same game but from someone else because maybe it was just a bad rip.

I have 3.40 OE-A and never had a problem with it.

OK, tried changing the name to three characters long, didn't work but I'll try re-downloading the iso from someone else.

Here are a few things you can try.

Connect PSP to PC via USB then right click on your PSP drive letter on PC and choose format. Choose FAT32 for file system and untick the QUICK box. Now click OK and it will format your MS. Now format the Memory Stick again via PSP System Settings.

Make sure the title of the ISO/CSO is short.

Example:

Correct -- Fifa07.iso
Not Correct -- FIFA-07-[PSP][EUR][www.torrent site.com].iso

-------------------------------------------------------------------

Now right click on the ISO/CSO file and choose Properties. Make sure the Read Only and Hidden box is unchecked and the Archive Box is checked.

-------------------------------------------------------------------

Go into recovery mode (Hold R shoulder button down while turning on PSP)

Now go to configuration then to UMD MODE and keep pressing X till you see Sony NP9660 NO UMD.

When it is set to the above setting go to BACK and press X.

Now go to ADVANCED and press X.

Go to ADVANCED CONFIGURATION and press X.

Make sure all the settings here are disabled.

Now EXIT out of recovery.

Now try the ISO/CSO.

Check and make sure you don't have a FAKE Memory Stick. Go to Game Menu Memory Stick and press triangle then choose information when the side bar pops out.

If it says Magic Gate unknown then the problem is more then likely the Memory Stick and not the ISO/CSO files.

*sigh* Looks like it is a fake... well, it does explain a lot and at least I know it wasn't something I did but just that I'm an idiot ;P

Anyways, thanks everyone and thanks larrylie for finally figuring it out. Time to get a genuine memory stick.
