Hi can someone please help me,im trying to back up my wii games but cant do it.Ive been on the thread of how to do it and this is where im at:Installed a LG-GDR8164B ROM Drive(in slave),Got a pioneer 112D writer,downloaded Framework net 2.0(1st)then Raw dump 2.0 and Winrar.Changed device 1 to PIO from DMA.Raw dump finds seeds and names game,then when it starts to dump it keeps stopping and starting every now and again,giving a time to upload files of 1256hrs or some extreme time.Ive managed to back up my Wii play without a glitch but all my others do this.Ive just bought a disc repairer/cleaner and run the games through that but with no improvement,i just dont know what to try next,please,please,please HELP ME :-(
Someone has told me that the problem im having is caused by MICROSOFT putting a patch on Net to stop you doin your backups and a few of you are having the same problem .Is this true? and if so has anyone found a way to resolve this? Thanks,Daz.
Starts and stops,left it on for 2days once then got an error after bout 10%.Ive cleaned 3 games and none work,the discs were in pretty good condition anyway.But when i try my wii sports it cant even find the pointer?
you sure you got the right device on PIO? i didnt know which one was the slave so i just set them all to PIO, was the error message something bout arithmetic error and overflow buffer?
