hey guys. is there any guides out there on modding a psp with a TA-082 motherboard and has ver. 2.82. i couldn't find any myself so plz help. also once i have done the actual modding how do i play the games?

3 options:
1)Upgrade to 3.03 and use GTS:LCS (unpatched) to downgrade
2)Upgrade to 3.50 and use Lumines (unpatched) to downgrade
3)Use a Pandora Battery to downgrade
Once you have downgraded, upgrade to 3.52 M33 to play the games, place them (as .iso or .cso) in ms0:/ISO/
PSP, all the way from 1.00 to 5.50 GEN D2 - DS Lite w/ M3DS Real (M3 Sakura v1.34)

ok i am at ver. 3.03 and i have put in the dowgrader files. now do i really need the UMD of GTA: LCS (unpatched) is there anyway of downloading that and loading it? and are all UMDs unpatched? how do i make it unpatched if its not?

No, you need the official UMD of the game, it's either patched or unpatched, that can't be changed. The patched will have update 2.60 on it, the unpatched will have update 2.00.

Upgrading to 3.52 M33 will make it a lot easier. From 3.52 M33, you can put your ISOs and CSOs in ms0:/ISO/ and they will show up in the "game" menu.

Here you can find the 3.52 M33 update files.
You will also need the 1.50 EBOOT and 3.52 EBOOT files. You can get these here and here.
You will have to extract the EBOOT files. Name the 1.50 EBOOT to 150.PBP and the 3.52 EBOOT to 352.PBP.
Firstly, open up the 1.50only folder, take out the two folders from inside that and place them inside ms0:/PSP/GAME/
Now take the M33CREATOR folder and place it on your PSP at the same location as above: ms0:/PSP/GAME/
Now place both the 150.PBP and 352.PBP files into the M33CREATOR folder on your PSP.
You can now disconnect your PSP from your computer, run the KXploit Permanent Patcher, when it's finsihed run the M33 update. After it has finished it will have created another icon on your PSP, run this, after that has finished you will have firmware 3.52 M33.
Make sure your battery charge is above 75% and/or has a charger plugged in before you do the update.

ok i have upgraded to 3.52 M33 and got the iso for daxter. now wen i go to game and select daxter the screen goes black after the playstation music. wats the problem?

Go into recovery (Hold down R when you turn on the PSP) and change the CPU clock speed in games to 300mhz.

Turn off your PSP
Turn it on again whilst holding R down
When the menu shows, go into "CPU Speed ->"
Then hover over "Speed in UMD.ISO" and tap X until it displays "(currently: 300)"
Then exit recovery and try running the game again.

Make sure all other options in recovery are disabled apart from "Hide corrupt icons".

Here are a few things you can try.
Make sure the title of the ISO/CSO is short.
Example:
Correct -- Fifa07.iso
Not Correct -- FIFA-07-[PSP][EUR][www.torrent site.com].iso
-------------------------------------------------------------------
Now right click on the ISO/CSO file and choose Properties. Make sure the Read Only and Hidden box is unchecked and the Archive Box is checked.
-------------------------------------------------------------------
Go into recovery mode (Hold R shoulder button down while turning on PSP)
Now go to configuration then to UMD MODE and keep pressing X till you see Sony NP9660 NO UMD.
When it is set to the above setting go to BACK and press X.
Now go to ADVANCED and press X.
Go to ADVANCED CONFIGURATION and press X.
Make sure all the settings here are disabled.
Now EXIT out of recovery.
Now try the ISO/CSO.

80020321 - No umd in drive when no umd is disabled

Oh, and: 80010002 - Putting the POPS EBOOT in the wrong folder
How can you get either of these errors when they don't apply to you?
Set it to UMD required and put a UMD in the drive...

well actually i didn't really follow your exact steps. wen i was upgrading from 1.5 to 3.52 M33 i found this guide which gave me this winstaller program that installed all the files for you. i just had to run the update. also for the recovery mode i got this program from right here at afterdawn that allowed me to access recovery mode anytime from the game section. so wat exactly do i need to do. how do i make UMD required? (P.S it does say ver 3.52 M33 in system information)
