Yeah, Im on 3.52M33 and I got the 3.71M33 update put it in my game folder and grabbed the 3.71 official update renamed it 371.pbp and put it in game folder, all my plugins are off and Im on 3.52 kernal game, I run the update and it says I need firmwar 3.52M33-3 or higher which I have. Help please.

You need to be at 3.52 M33-2 or 3.52 M33-4.
Just be aware allot of the plugins and homebrew that require 1.50 will not work. You will need to wait till DAX releases the 1.50 kernel plugin.
To update to 3.52 M33-4 follow the below instructions.
3.52 M33-4 HERE
Now extract the 3.52 M33-4 update.
Drag the PSP folder that is in the update M33-4 into the root of the MS overwriting the files when it asks you to. Now go to Game Menu Memory Stick and run the m33-4 update. This will only take a few seconds.
After the update is finished check and make sure it says 3.52 M33-4 for firmware. If it does say 3.52 m33-4 then format the MS 1 more time.
You are now updated to 3.52 M33-4.

I have 3.52M33-4 but get the same message as it says that I need M33-3 or higher... but I am at M33-4 since it was released.
and yeah renamed the official 371 to what is has to be (371.pbp)
all in psp/game/update folder... weird. any clue? thanks.

Did you have the kernel set to 1.50 instead of 3.52 for GAME FOLDER in recovery?
Let others know how you fixed it in case someone else runs into this problem.

Yes. The kernel had to be set at 3.52 so that the update could work.
Because even while I had 3.52M33-4 the update was bugging me that it
needs at least M-33-3.
So if anyone else would get the same problem just change the kernel to 3.52 and it should work. By me it worked well that way.

You said NO to my question on if it was set at 1.5- instead of 3.52 kernel.
Then turn around and say you needed to change the kernel to 3.52 in order for the update to work.
Um thats what I said so your answer should have been Yes not no.

sorry. was my mistake, yeah I had to say YES. I had 1.50 kernel instead of 3.52 but wasn't aware of that.

Great, it worked I was on 1.50 kernel. When is that 150kernel patch for 3.71M33 coming out? Why didn't DAX just release 150kernel with the CFW?

There no big things about the new m33 is there? except you cant use a lot of homebrew and you get sony themes? What other themes do they have? is it near the greatness of EVOLVE? or its just sony themes? If theres really good ones out there, where can you find them? Is the top menu plugin changed or it looks the same?
