I did everything the ReadMe said. When I get to the step:
Execute the program, it requires 78% of battery. If you have idstorage corrupted due to a downgrader, the program
will ask you to correct it automatically so the update can continue.
- Press X, and the Sony updater will begin. Sit and enjoy while Sony code installs 3.71 M33 :)
It starts doing what it's supposed to do and then "PSP Update ver 3.71" pops up! I'm not sure if this is normal. What do I have to do? Please help!
EDIT
MY PSP IS BRICKED! I CAN'T REACH RECOVERY MODE! HELP!!!

wait up. were you actualy installing the 3.71 firmware while flashing? hmm im just curious you cant upgrade past 3.11 on ofw right? (if u went below 2.60) well since this kinda looks mainly like ofw and its past 3.11 could that be why? probly not, but just a thought? and btfan its normal for that to pop up, dax replaced a few files.

Ya but the installation was weird. It was just written "PSP ver 3.71 installation" just like Sony's other firmwares.
And if this step was normal, it wasn't even written in the ReadMe!

I know, it said not to turn off but:
1) I didn't want to get stuck at 3.71 forever! I didn't know this step was normal!
2) I couldn't quit! All I could've of done was "Start installation"!
Please help me, Marlin!!

well maybe I'll stick to 3.52 M33-4 to avoid more bricking. Actually, it depends, I'll see what others have to say for 3.71 M33.
So will you help me, Marlin?

You could've trusted M33.I started the update and it was successful. The 3.71M33 update looks just like the official 3.71 update. It's not.In the beginning, when you started the upgrade, it should be saying like writing files from 3.71. That's the proof that makes it trusted.I guess Pandora is your only way now.

3.71M33 was bricking your PSP...?There's another reason why I will never upgrade back to 3.71M33.
