Hi all. I new to the hole devhook scene and i've been running an older version. i recently wanted to play newer game iso's/cso's and it says i need firmware 3.40. so i tried to put devhook 0.6i on my psp and when i launch the iso it tries to "startup the devhook"(white wirting on black screen it also says it will reboot) then the psp just shuts off...
Can anybody help me install this devhook properly? thanks!

Here you can find the 3.52 M33 update files.
You will also need the 1.50 EBOOT and 3.52 EBOOT files. You can get these here and here.
You will have to extract the EBOOT files. Name the 1.50 EBOOT to 150.PBP and the 3.52 EBOOT to 352.PBP.
Firstly open the 1.50only folder and place the folders inside of that into your ms0:/PSP/GAME folder
Now take the M33CREATOR folder and place it on your PSP at the same location as above: ms0:/PSP/GAME/
Now place both the 150.PBP and 352.PBP files into the M33CREATOR folder on your PSP.
You can now disconnect your PSP from your computer. Run the KXploit Permanent Patcher, then run the M33 the update. After it has finished it will have created another icon on your PSP, run this, after that has finished you will have firmware 3.52 M33.
Make sure your battery charge is above 75% and/or has a charger plugged in before you do the update.
PSP, all the way from 1.00 to 5.50 GEN D2 - DS Lite w/ M3DS Real (M3 Sakura v1.34)
PS3 3.01 - iPod Touch 2G 16GB Jailbroken - Xbox 360 60GB - PC, Q6600, 3GB DDR2, GTX260 (216) 896MB

More importantly, why are you still using devhook?? Please use the guide above that shokz made for you and install the custom firmware already!! It will make your life so much easier...I am assuming you are using 1.50 firmware currently? Once you get the custom firmware cooking, you wont need devhook, and your newer games will play beautifully...

The type of Motherboard will not matter since your at 1.50 firmware.
Follow the steps Shokz gave above but make sure you also drag the kxploitpatcher and kxploitpatcher% folders to the /PSP/GAME folder along with the M33CREATOR folder.
The kxploitpatcher and kxploitpatcher% folders are in the 1.50only that comes with the 3.52 M33 upgrade files.
Now go to game Menu and run the KXploit Permanent Patcher (1 of the files will say corrupt data this is normal). It will start and say patched successfully then should reboot back to the PSP Menu.
Now run the M33CREATOR under Game Menu which will crate the update and reboot back to PSP menu when that is done.
Now go to Game Menu and run the 3.52 M33UPDATE that the M33CRETAOR made.
Make sure you have your PSP plugged in and it has been charged to 75% battery level. Also make sure your extracting the 1.50 and 3.52 files you download. They are compressed files so you will need to extract it then rename the extracted file to 150.PBP and 352.PBP

the issue i was having was the names of the eboots
i had named them 150.PBP and 352.PBP and they were not working so i tried 150 and 352 without adding the .PBP and it worked, made me feal kinda stupid but atleast it works now!

It runs both, and both go in the ms0:/ISO/ folder
