How to check what Mod chip do I have?

My dad bought a Wii from oversee and he didn't know that it has some type of mod chip in it, is there a way to find out what mod chip is in my wii?

P.S. My wii is a NTSC-Jap, it can play imports and backup games.

Then you'll have to setup your date and time again. Plus you'll have to delete the Everybody Votes Channel data. When you take out the battery, some polls will say that there is 174 days left until it ends or something like that.

I just took the battery out of the wii....nothing happened....the wii still runs fine (with the semi brick of course)
