My Xbox has been modded but the chip is gone and I want to replace it. Which one do I choose?

I bought an xbox off ebay that already has the wires for a mod chip soldered onto the motherboard but there was no chip. Where can I find what chip I need to get to replace the one that was in there?

did you ask the person you bought it from?

i emailed him but he never emailed me back. is there a way i could tell by what wires were installed and where? i could take a picture and email it to you or anyone who might know.
