are u sure
i mean they say on the game menu u can upgrade to 1.52 so i know i have a unpatched version
isn't there an exploit for this becaus a friend said he had used it and what the hell is the other method of downgrading called pandora's box
to downgrade 3.50, you either need unpatched lumines or pandora's battery.
the unpatched lumines is the actual exploit to downgrade.
this is the only game that can downgrade 3.50
the wipeout game was used to navigate through files from the umd and access the internet. it can run homebrew, but only ones designed for 1.00. practically all homebrew are designed on the 1.50. it does not have a downgrader exploit
pandora's battery will only work if you have a 1.50 or custom firmware psp, so if you don't have access to one, don't even bother trying it on your psp
the real question that we should be asking you is, what firmware do you currently have? If wipeout is saying you need to upgrade to 1.52 to play it then you might have 1.5 or lower already. If this is the case then you don't need to downgrade at all! Just upgrade to the latest m33 custom firmware. If you have 1.51 then you'll have to use the Lumines method or find someone who has a custom firmware already and buy an additional battery that you can then use to create the PANDORA'S battery which will allow you to downgrade as well. Personally the Lumines method is easy and works great. But as has already been stated, there is no Wipeout downgrade method.

^^Not entirely true.^^ You can also downgrade to the desirable 1.5 with Grand Theft Auto: Liberty City Stories. This has to be the unpatched version, though. I just used this downgrade Friday. Now I'm not too sure but if you try to downgrade from 3.5 you will brick your system. You need to have a 2.5/2.6 PSP (this goes for the Lumines downgrade too. You CANNOT install custom firmware on your 3.5 or you might brick it. As said before, get a Pandora's battery from Ebay, it will save you headache. BTW, youtube has some great tutorials on how to upgrade/downgrade.

No, you can't use GTA to downgrade from 3.50, or they would have suggested that as an option, the downgrader wouldn't even work, let alone get far enough for you to brick it.
