HEATSINK OR FAN?

I bought both fans and when i open it up it had the heatsink but no one knows if the new heatsink will do the job and this is my 2nd xbox so i didn't want to take a chance with the red lights again.

i've got the fan upgrade kit from XCM with High Speed Fan/LCD same one in the pic but i think it makes a big difference in the temp....but the down side here is its louder with the new fans and drop in fan...just giving u a heads up....stays cooler to me but they are louder fans.....

if you want it cooler, put it in an open spot near an ac vent. free and effective.

but im thinking that a fan is much more efficient than a heatsink, but a fan and heatsink is more efficient than just a fan. but thats just my thoughts on it.
