hi im using PSP Unpacker to make my own firmware using everything in the 3.71 eboot exept for the data.psp
and data.psar and the param.sfo wich i will replace with the 1.50 eboot files. but whenever i put it under game/update it says its corrupted . any ideas?

When you unpack the 3.71 EBOOT.PBP, are you using the decrypt all method or decrypt all but those files. Either way, those files, if you have decrypted them from the official 3.71 EBOOT, will not work if you replace them with 1.50 files. Doesn't work that way. Just wait for D_A (M33, whichever you prefer) to release a patch.

There is no excuse NOT to mod! Don't follow the rules, make them!

1. i dont know if im decrypting i just click on the exttract button

2.ya but alex is not releasing any new firmware he said he would be done with after the patch. so thats way im trying to make a downgrade/hen mode so i could upgrade to custom firmware

so thats why i wanted to make a newer official firmware so (i could uprgrade from 3.60) but with 1.50 kernal so i can run unassigned code

Yore trykng to make you own firmware? PBP unpacker wont do it. It takes yeats of LUA or C++ coding training.
