i have a dell inspiron 9300 and there is a problem with the cd drive when i bought it was working fine. it read and burn dvds but can't read and burn cds

Hi, if it reads and burns cds and will read dvds you probably dont have a problem. What program do you use to burn. Are you saying it does or doesn't read and burn dvds?

If this is the model with no upgrades, it doesnt have a DVD burner.
