thx , helps out . i am downloading from newsgroups and it explains why a few did not work lol. also i have a samsung sh d162c. i know this can read xbox 360 , but can that drive read xbox games ??

well ihave heard of modchips u can use , but u can flash the firmware on the 360 fvf rom drive to recognize and play backup ( copies) of games. theb you download the game off the internet and with any dual layer dvd burner you rip the games to dic. i use verbatim disc expensive but work great. i found then on sale at best buy for 39.99 for 20 discs. make sure they are dvd+r media. use dvd decrypter, or img burn or clonecd to burn to dvd. you have to set layer break for 360 at 1930760

I don't know how to do the xbox 1, If I knew how to solder lol I probably could have.
But, the 360 is so easy guys. For the guys asking help how to flash a dvd drive it's really simple.

He'll have videos on how to do your drive. The whole process is so easy guys.
-You basically pop open your 360
-Get the Drive in mode-b, not hard trust me.
-Put a real game/DVD movie in the drive (optional)
-Open up the program for that drive to flash
-type or click the info for the program
-Then flash it.
The whole process takes about 5-7 minutes.

Yes, the FW is stealthed. You have to get a stealthed fw, it's so easy man.

I followed his guide, pwned the 360. Yes, I have been on live for the last 3 months with no ban.

hello,
i have been using xdvdmulleter 10 beta to check and fix 360 iso files and verify the stealth of the iso and is ixtreme.is their another program i can use to double check incase xdvdmulleter makes a mistake in saying its stealthed ???
just want to be double sure on stealth and not to get banned from xbox live.

Hm i did dvd file like u say but when i burned it i put it in the xbox360 and then game started and then some video appears and then nothing that screed stays eny idea?Do i need to patch it or somethink?Cus i tried with XBOX360 SS Merger 1.5o but when i chose iso file and click detect md5 some error appears so dont no??EAny help?

if you flash your firmware even if you play originals on xbox live with a flashed firware,, expect to get banned... may not be right away but your system may be creating some type of log files for microsoft...
if you dont want to get banned dont play on xbox live.
I have 1 360 for offline ONLY and 1 for online. use a memory card to transfer profile data achievments etc.. ( ise use my profile on both systems )

As you can see, im preety new in here... i just wanted to tell you about the program that for me, is the best game burner.....
It si called Cookies Xbox360 Game Burner
Just google it and you can find it.
This software will ask you for the .iso or the .dvd file, its the same, and you just have to add the .iso or .dvd file, and click on BURN GAME ... thats it..... the app will do it all AUTOMATIC! its quite easy. i just finished burning rainbow six vegas 2 and its fcking awesome!
Hope its useful for you guys!

thats all you have to do with imageburn or clonecd also.....so i guess they are awesome and better since more people know about them.

Well, about imageburn, i dont know, but CloneCD, is crap! ... i cant burn anything with it, it just stays in 0% thats why i tried this one and went pretty good... iŽll be checking imageburn.

no need to copy and paste the same thread about this Cookie program in every thread that has to do with burning.
davidrose, Depends where you are in the world. It is not illegal in some countries to make back up copies of games you legally own. Personally i do not think it should be illegal anywhere to protect one's investment by backing it up.
and hopefully this thread will close when you read the ultimate sticky sticky at the top which would have answered 95% if not all of these questions.
