[Tutorial] How to FLASH Cwcheat to Flash0 on your PSP

BACKGROUND INFO : This is for those less fortunate people who have fake memory sticks, Those brand name memory sticks such as LEXAR which don't support plugins.This for them to enjoy some cheats on their PSP console.

REQUIREMENTS :

- Custom Firmware 3.40 OE-A
- Basic Knowledge about teh recovery mode

THE TUTORIAL :

This tutorial is for those people who got fake mem sticks and have bought LEXAR mem sticks or those "slow mem sticks that do not support plugins

STEP1 :

Download the Cwcheat from their site and extract the MS_root file to the desktop

STEP2 :

Open Seplugins and delete the cwcheatposps.prx and game150.txt and pops.txt

STEP3 :

Open Game.txt and replace all the writing with "/kd/cwcheat.prx" w/o quotations

STEP4 :
Make sure you save the game.txt

STEP5 :

Go into recovery mode and enable FLASh0 ( if you don;t know how to go to recovery mode Press the Big X button on the top right hand side of the screen now)

STEP6 :

In the flash0 open the KN folder and copy & paste the CWCHEAT.prx file from SEPLUGINS "AFTER" Mediasync.prx!! This is very important.

STEP7 :

Now open pspbtcnf_game.txt in the same directory and After the line $/kd/mediasync.prx type in /kd/cwcheat.prk
EX: it should look like this

$/kd/.....
$/kd/.....
$/kd/mediasync.prx
/kd/cwcheat.prx

STEP8 :

Make sure you save

STEP9 :

Now exit out of the flash0 and go to TOGGLE USB in the recovery menu

STEP10 :

now in the seplugins folder on the desktop, you should have a game.txt file and a cwcheat folder...copy the SEPLUGINS folder to the root of the mem. stick

what is the KN folder how do you find it or get to it? and by copy and paste Cwcheat.prx do u mean drag and drop?

You can see it in flash0 ...
to get to flash0 you need to have recovery menu (and recovery menu is only available on CFW ) press and hold the r trigger while you boot up your PSP from a complete off and you should go to recovery menu then go to advanced then select toggleUSB (flash0)

i enabled flash0 and then im lost...do i go to MS_ROOT or something bcuz kn folder isnt there thats the part im stuck on locating kn folder

help im stuck on step 6..."In the flash0 open the KN folder" what does that mean...can you open folders while your in recovery mode?I opened MS_ROOT while in recov. mode but KN folders not there..so im lost and confused...

I don't know why you don't see Kn he said it's in flash0 and flash0 in accessed via recovery menu..and I don't see a reason why you bricked your PSP...maybe you did something in flash0 you don't know..

yea man thats what i meant but i was talking tot he dude who semi-bricked his console lol i mentioned in the tutorial that if u dont have a clue what your doin then jus stop

lol i fixed the semi-brick it was quick freaky but quite easy to do..btw i did it on a m33 thats prob y..

Yeah that's probably the reason cause it says on the requirements "3.40 OE-A PSP....
