I?ve got a Pandora's battery and magic memory stick. I put the MS in then the battery the WAN and MS lights flash for 1 or 2 seconds then it has a black screen. It's not bricked. And it's NOT the new psp lite/slim so it should work.

try recreating the files again. i assume the files might be missing. try pressing the display button too (the square beside the music note).

Is the memory stick configured for a slim?
I've tried a slim configured stick on my phat psp and found it didn't work.
If thats the case then you might need to replace the files with a phat compatible setup
or
Did you use some Pandora loader instead of the orig Pandora setup? If the loader is installed wrong you can get mixed results
do or do not, there is no try...
only the sith think in black and white...
these quotes confuse me, as the first is black and white and is spoken by a jedi master... is Obi Wan saying Yoda is one with the sith?? o_O

Also is the Pandora Battery and Memory Stick as per the initial C+D setup without any mods? ie. If you have loaded the Extended Pandora Bootmenu you could have a problem, but that was just once over a couple of PSP's.
I had a black screen with mine, so re-created the Battery and Memory Stick and worked fine.

Well I could never run mspformat to format the MS. Windows would just come up with an error. My dad about a week ago bought a laptop and we installed windows ME on it. I tried mspformat with the laptop but it just did the same thing as my pc. About 3 days later dad installed windows xp home edition on it and I was doing nothing else so I tried mspformat again on the laptop don't know why but IT WORKED! So know I have a custom FW psp.
