Hi,I downloaded a game from the internet for my ps2, did all the things required ie burned it and then placed it on my ps2 and it is showing a black screen at the loading and after a couple of minutes its showing insert a ps2 disc error.
my ps2 model is scph 50003
my tv only supports ntsc, but i am able to play games that are pal only, the only thing is that they are black nd white.
used a dvd dycrypter, alchohol 120 and nero, got the same error
the dvd type was a dvd-r
can u guys help me out here!!!!

Does your mod chip have a specific button to press when you play PAL games then, otherwise you will need to apply the y fix to the ISO to fix it.
You can find the PAL to NTSC patchers here if you need to do that.
There is a few of them listed on this page.

or you can use the adr patcher also which can fix the black & white
