is there any custom firmware that you don't have to use flash and there is no chance of getting a brick if there is please give me the link thank you!

you can't fully brick your psp by installing a custom theme,you can only semi brick which is easily fixed if you backup your flash(0) first

go into recovery mode and goto advanced/toggle usb flash(0)
you should see a bunch of folders vsh,font and so on just simply COPY all the folders and paste them in a folder on your computer
it's always a good idea to back up your flash(0) folders
now you can just copy and paste the selected theme contents into the folders on your psp
if you do semi brick just enter recovery mode again select advanced/toggle usb flash(0) and copy all your original folders back in
