i was looking around ebay for parts to my psp and found a modded psp it has a soldered board in it and says that it run the factory firmware and a flashed firmware so even if you brick the psp you can load up the factory firmware to fix it type in moded psp on ebay

it probably has a undiluted platinum modchip. you're able to have two firmwares. people say it's hard to solder them.

the modchip only cost about 40-50 dollars. the seller must think it's one of a kind; it's not. if i can get a bricked psp and the modchip, i'd probably try it myself.

it says its brand new with the clear case an the mod chip looked around found chip for 60.oo and figure 169.00 fpr console and 35 for case looking at260.00 and some change yup i guess that is a little bit it must be a pain in the a** to do if he wants that much. where is a good place to get a real fine soldering iron at to do something like that seeing as i have disassembled a psp and everything in then is tiny.

holy crap found a place that u can send your psp to and they will install th e board it cost 264.00 that is with a 2 day turn around other wise it is 228.00

the modchip is practically useless, because we have pandora's battery and recovery mode. and it can permanently damage the psp motherboard. but if you really want to mod the psp, i guess that's the way to go.

if you're a person who likes to mess with electronics, it's better to do it yourself on a bricked psp, because you can scrap the bricked psp for parts if things go wrong.

ya i agree it is A cool concept and if it was alittle easier and more affordable there wouldnt be question on how to make the battery all of the time haha
