Rgiht now, a 3.52m33-4 is better :)
The 3.71m33 does not have 1.50 kernal patch :)
But it totally depends on you whether you use 1.50 homebrews, if you dun use them, you can go in for the 3.71m33 :)
Also, I heard that they will bring up this firmware with a 1.50 patch too :)
lets hope :D

No, 3.71 M33 is worse than 3.52 M33-4. And there probably won't be another firmware for a while... (M33 (DaX) has announced he's quiting for good)

Nowhere, i don't think it'll work on 3.71 M33, but i guess it might...
It goes in the ms0:/seplupgins folder, along with a vsh.txt and game.txt telling the psp where to locate the .prx to be able to use it.
Then go into recvery -> plugins, and enagle it in VSH and GAME.

Best firmware is 3.40OE it has alot of homebrews and recovery mode if you semi-brick your psp.
3.71 M33 Custom Firmware Launched and its full of bugs :
3.71 M33's Custom frimware just got launched for the Slim and Fat psp ... How is it ? HORRIBLE ... Homebrews dont work , gameboot- themes can't be added, Skip logo doesnt work , disabling automatic Umd run doesnt work, Loads of crashes with plugins and homebrews . team M33 are workin on it . To all you guys who updated to 3.71 M33 i can only point and laugh at you (HAHAHAHAHA : P ) ... you know why ??? SEMI BRICK RECOVERY DOESNT WORK ... in short U R soo screwed and stuck with 3.71 M33 unless u have the pandora (i downgraded back and happy with my 3.40 OE-A thank you) . so guys WAIT...coz stupid 3.71 m33 plays cso's only and nothin else sooo. wait up ...and for now enjoy your 3.40 Oe-A custom firmware(the best firmware ever) ...i will write when m33 is fully ready
The reason for all this is coz sony got the source code of how the make custom firmwares and used a bit of encryptions and stuff ...
I got this from my friend igizmore send him and e-mail he is the best and has a exellent site support him by clicking ads no need to buy but still support him. Here is the site he is a very good guy here is the site http://igizmore.blogspot.com/

you do know that OE and m33 firmware are created by Dark_AleX, right?
the most stable right now is 3.52 m33-4. the official sony np9660 no-umd driver boots all iso/cso. and it has a built in umd ripper. plus the vsh menu comes in handy.
ps2: v7 scph-39001 - independence exploit - hdloader 0.8c - maxtor 300gb hdd
(+[__]%) psp slim ta-085v1: 6.60 PRO B10
wii (powered by bootmii/priiloader): 4.1u - d2x v10beta53-alt (base 56) - configurable usb loader v70r51/devolution r188 - wd scorpio black 7200rpm 320gig w/ ams venus ds2 enclosure
got a whole lot more to list . . .

That just made me laugh, 3.52 M33-4 is the best firmware.
No wonder, you got that off IGIZMORE, i'll just say he doesn't sound like he actually knows too much and he's an OE fanboy (If you can get one, does he know DaX = M33 yet?).
Anyway, you want to know the reason all that stuff doesn't work, the reason you would have found out for yourself if you'd have read the damn readme that came with 3.71 M33; THERE IS NO 1.50 KERNEL YET. It will all be fixed in the future.
And FYI there IS a recovery for 3.71 M33, i guess igizmore just han't found it yet...
