I Have a 200 GB HDD in my ps2 already and i wanted to know if i can put a decent OS on my PS2 and/or Burn Games and/or DVD's to my HDD without HD advance Can anyone Help?

Haha I dont5 think so kid.
The best you can do is Linux kit.
through that you may be able to put Win95.
I dont think PS2 will handle Xp anyway!! PS3 has hardtime doing that!!

I know about the Linux kit but does it only run on the Sony 40GB

I think i can do what a i want form there I already changed the whole interface I'm actualy working on changing processors and other internal right now but I just wanted to know if there was anyone out there that has gone through any of this

any info would help thanks alot

You have the LinuxKit? what did you do? I dont think PS2 can handle
Modern OSes.

you're changing out the internals of the ps2? you'll find yourself having to run an emulator to run your ps2 games, then, so you better have found a good one and be running some rather built internals (10x the ps2 standards, at least); elsewise, you just have a less-than-great pc.

I most certainly will What ever I descover (or Stumble across) anything I will keep a word out on anything the ps2 scene is so mecrob i have to try and do something i spent way to much time taking form my ps2 i didnt even think about giving back (by taking away and replacing)by the way your right i would be making a less than great pc but i'm not changing to much i may have com across some good "boosters" for my PS2 so it would be able to Handle MUGEN or some other prgrams but i'm missing so much right now I havent done any of this since i was in my early teens that was only like 6 years ago but still things changed since then ya know so bare with me here i've been out for a while sorry for the newbish questions just wanna know some updates

I heard of the linux kit, but there is no way you can use the ps2 in lieu of your computer. Get over it.

not entirely accurate; you could do this to the ps2, but then you'd lose the ability to play ps2 games and you'd wind up with a machine with many times less performance than the same money can buy.
