The following stations no longer work-

UKTV Documentary (but UKTV Documentary + 1 is okay)
UKTV Drama
UKTV G2 +1
UK TV Gold (but UKTV Gold + 1 is okay)
UK TV History ( but UKTV History + 1 is okay)
UK TV Style (but UKTV Style + 1 is okay)


I have done an Automatic scan and got duplicates for the following stations (which were okay anyway)-

UK TV Documentary + 1
UK TV History + 1
UK TV Food+1
UK TV Style +1

Something like this happened in Ireland a few weeks ago

You could try a factory setting
Menu > Factory Setting
PIN 0000
OK to delete

Turn box off at the back for a minute and turn back on
English > Installation
Choose Provider
Automatic Scan
Press OK
Channels found
Exit

Menu 1570
Turn EMU key ON

Exit , exit , exit

Still no good :( Do you mean that something similar happened with the UK-Drama/Doc etc stations?

Yes the same thing happened here in Ireland cos they changed the freq

Did you do the factory setting and turn the b)x off for a min ?

Yes-I did exactly what you suggested and I'm still getting no signal. Should I do a manual scan?

Maybe because the +1 channels runs on a different freq

Here is the freq I have and as I said , I am not sure if they changed them in th UK recently

UK DOCUMENTRY 627.000
UK DRAMA 627.000
UK FOOD +1 347.000
UK FOOD 627.000
UK GARDENS 627.000
UK GOLD + 1 347.000
UK GOLD + 2 347.000

UK HISTORY 627.000
UK HISTORY+1 347.000
UK PEPOLE 347.000
UK STYLE + 1 347.000
UK STYLE 627.000

The following channels work and have given me no problem , so their frequency can't have changed-

UK TV Bright Ideas
UK TV Food
UK TV Gardens
UK TV People

I notice that the only UK- station without a +1 channel on V rgin is UK TV Drama

Delete the channels that are NOT working and do a manual scan on 627.000 , if that still fails then its to do with the cable provider in your area

Just tried that but still nothing :( It can't be the cable provider as the frequencies work on the other televisions in the house
