Two stupid questions re cwcheats

I just helped a buddy go from 2.81>3.03>1.50>3.52 M33-4, and then installed cwcheats. At first everything worked great. First stupid question: in Socom he enabled a couple cheats in the cwcheat menu, how do you actually execute those cheats in the game?

Second stupid question: he tried pulling up the cwcheat menu in Socom and it locked up teh psp. After that Socom would no longer load, the psp screen would just go black. We reformatted teh memory stick, Socom then loaded fine. After installing cwcheats it again caused the psp to go blank while loading Socom. Any thoughts?

Only thing I know is that it's REALLY hard to get a good answer for any CW CHEAT questions.

to execute cheats you select the cheats you want then you enable them by pressing X on enable cheats.

My PSP Firmware History: 2.60 had to return the PSP because it had a dead pixel > new PSP had firmware 2.71 > 1.5 > 3.52 M33 > 3.52 M33-4 > 3.71 M33 > 3.71 M33 with 1.50 kernel
