Has anyone got the popsloader plugin to work yet with 3.71 M33?
Still can't get that to load even after adding the 1.50 add-on.

In the readme of 3.71M33 it says you can expect lots of plugins not working. That must be including popsloader. You either downgrade or just stick with it.

Hello all, I've just updated to 3.71m33 having probs getting the 1.5 patch I've copied the update file to the game location and copied the PBP file to the root. When I load the file the message I get is
reading 1.50 psar: incorrect or inexistant 150.PBP at root
any idea what I've done wrong..

You placed it in the root correct? not the MP_ROOT folder.
The root is the directory that has ISO/PSP/MP_ROOT/MUSIC/PICTURES etc. etc. folders in it.
Make sure the 1.50 EBOOT file is named 150.PBP

I've placed in in the root with all the psp folders ie video music..I've named it 150.PBP I placed the update folder in the game folder not the game150 or game371 I got the 1.5 eboot from dj.net I've used the PBP file before when updating to 3.52m33
I'm at a lost here...so I take it no one has had this prob...

Try renaming it to just 150
I have seen cases where some have named it 150.PBP but the .PBP extension was hidden so renaming it to 150.PBP when the extension was hidden actually renamed it to 150.PBP.PBP

Popsloader is built into 3.52 m33-4 isn't it? I mean I haven't added the plugin and I'm able to play eboots. I wonder why it wouldn't be included in this release...

You can play PSX EBOOTS through the 3.52 kernel.
But not all PSX EBOOTS will work on 3.52 kernel. So there is a popsloader plugin that lets you emulate other pops versions from 3.00 - 3.51 which you can get HERE(This doesn't work in 3.71 M33).
I am going back to 3.52 M33-4 as well. I like being able to use custom XMB themes plus my popsloader plugin.

Weird... everything's been working fine for me. I do use gpsp kai unofficial, though--so that may be why. Even if I do run into computability issues, I'm more than willing to put up with them for the new games that are coming out soon (Castlevania - Crisis Core - Et cetera).

Lets just hope for the time being developers require 3.52 or less. Dont get me wrong, if Crisis Core came out tomorrow and required 3.71, I would be there in a heart beat!

Yeah, 3.71 m33 aint even that great. I too was also looking forward to the patch, but m33/4 is all i need >;]. It's the best yet. The most stable custom firmware out there, also if you guys happen to pass by the desenger_remix theme on consolespot. That is one sick theme, other than mines ;]. Also i prefer RCOs rather than PTF's. Face it, 3.71m33 aint even worth the upgrade unless they drop out marvel vs. capcom 2 for only that high of a firmware :D

1.50 kernel for the fat only it's right there on the first page
readme
Requeriments:
- 3.71 M33 previously installed.
Instructions.
- Copy the directory UPDATE to /PSP/GAME/UPDATE.
- Get sony 1.50 update and copy it to the root with name "150.PBP"
- Run the program and done.
Notes:
- This program is only for PSP fat. The program will reject PSP slim, due to the 1.50 kernel

CWcheat doesn't work? *sigh*
I don't want to replay the entire ff7 from scratch again. Took me 100+ hours to completely finish the game/level/collect weapons/defeat bosses on PS1

I have a few question, what is the different after I update with 1.50 add-on ? I can change to 1.50 kernel before I upgrade it.

The Recovery Menu still lists 1.50/3.71 GAME folder kernel selections but 1.50 kernel isn't operable if you haven't updated to the 1.50 ADD-ON.
So if you had a 1.50 BASE homebrew (Without 1.50 Add-ON) and you changed the GAME folder kernel to 1,50 kernel it still wouldn't work. It just uses the 3.71 kernel still. To run the 1.50 kernel homebrew you will need to install the 1.50 ADD-ON.
