I'm considering buying all of the Halo's since everyone says they're so amazing, but being that i've never played them, would you recommend just getting halo 3 and forgetting the rest, or getting them all and playing them in order?

I would recommend also getting Halo and Halo 2 first. You should be able to get them for cheap.
I wouldn't "waste" my money on Halo 3 if you haven't played Halo or Halo 2 at all. Get those two, play them and if your satisfied then go get Halo 3.
Peace

You may find it a little tedious getting and beating the first two, I would try them somehow. You must know a friend that owns halo 2 and just buy the third one.
Insert clever sig here

Thats a sound idea as well. I went though Halo and am in the process of going though Halo 2 with a friend (just for the storyline) and that makes the game a lot funner in my opinion. :-)

No, that was something implemented by the 360 so regular XBox games do not have achievements. :-(.

:Hijack Alert:
I'm assuming that Halo and Halo 2 will play on the Xbox 360?
Thanks,

Buy them if you want, but don't beleive all the hype about how great the games are. They are good but not great. The single player is ok but gets boring after a while. The online play is it's real bread and butter, so if your not into that you may just want to rent them first.
Personally i would save my money and wait a few more days for the Half-Life 2 Orange Box to be released on 10-9-07. It does not get near the publicity or hype as Halo but is a much better game in every aspect.

Ahh, I see. Well, I'll probably borrow my friends', then see if I want to buy it.
Half-Life 2 Orange Box sounds very interesting though, been a good series at least....
