i have a question , why ? when we update to 1.9b we have to pick 1.9b us .iso , or 1.9b pal.iso ,or 1.9b j.iso to be load the update wiikey mod. so how about if wiikey sent out for ship ,how do they now ,what type of your consle ? to sell what ver.1.9b to you . (us.iso,pal.iso, j.iso.)? to matched with your consle?
ok let say if u buy wiikey mod chip from what ever site online , they will shipout the new chip with new firmware 1.9b , so my question is how do they know what type of your consle us, pal , or j to get the right ver. software us, pal , j to sent it to you?....
Oh wow, so they are selling Wiikeys with 1.9 now. So yeah, if you buy that then you don't have to do anything but download the 1.3 config. disc if you want.
Anyone have a successfully modded wii with a wiikey? I installed mine, and it plays original games just fine, but not having any luck with back ups of my originals. I took it apart and verified all solder points, and I have tried 4 different types of dvd media. I am at a complete loss as to where I am running into my problems. Since the wii plays originals fine, I think the chip is in and probably functioning fine, I may just be having a problem with my burning process or media.
Is there anyone that has a definite working copy of wii sports (I own this, so would be legal for me to have a backup) that they would be willing to send me so I can test the install? I will pay shipping charges via paypal.
