I have been through a lot of software to edit the commercials out of my programs. I have more than one and every one I used, it failed. I would like one that shows you how to do this, because the one that I have tried show you but are very complicated. You have your video playing and you have I have to go through the whole 1 hour show and try to get out the commercials. Some you use the slider bar to edit and you know what it does not work for me. I don't cut out all the commercial or at the end of the movie it doesn't cut out the part I don't want. One even added a different part of the movie to the end before I realized it and tried to burn to a DVD to how it worked. One edit's the commercials, but the audio is off. I downloaded a free trial of VSO Video ReMaker and it just freezes up and I have to end it with task Manager. Please can someone help me?

For TV shows recorded to DVD, the simplest, most effective software that I continue to use, is 'DVD Shrink' in 'Re-author' mode.
A useful alternative is 'AVIDemux'.
