I tried going online in [king of fighters Maximum Impact 2]and everything is in japanese but after a few guessing 2 click this an that i got online...but when it tries 2 do the DNA$ checking thing,i'am getting 833 which is [Region Error]...
1.Do i have to change my Ntsc/us system-to-Ntsc/jp ? i would think so!
2.any1 who reads this post,,,have any of u play online onto japanese servers ?
3.i know about the parado-x Id change thing,,but i'am a tad bit afraid of running danger zone softwares like those...
should i give it a go? is it easy ?

Wll its quiet easy. I booted it up once...
If you do go ahead and do it, make sure to notedown your original ID.
Also if its a backup then you may have to patch it.
My prob is that I have JAP PS2!!

i think i've read somewhere that when u run it for the first time it backups your original id...! but before running it,where do i go 2 write down my original id ?
yeah i patch it with the universal id...
although u have a jap ps2,,do u go online in any japanese online support game ? and when u want 2 play a game 2 a different region,,do u change your id all the time ? thanks

I think its under your console.
and alos the it is shown once the PARADOX ID CHANGER boots up.
just match it with one somewhere on your consoles body to be sure.
I have never played online. although I wanted to but didnt really care. I had a euro ps2 before this which broke away.

how 2 switch the id 2 a jap region ? like what number or id i should put in?

heeeey-i saw your reply a day or maybe 2 days back and i scope out the website for about 4 minutes and i said 2 myself!!!!!!!this is it,this is IT,,BUT i didn't had time to do anything with my laptop,but today is SATURDAY and a BIIIIIIIIG THANKS goes out 2 U!! and in a bit after doing a few more sort-outs i'll have some free time 2 work on the region changing plan....SO THANKS 4 THE BIG HELP.....OnE LoVe

Yes, possibly
you can from MC, but not from hdloader.
If you know how to use uLaunchElf. then just copy it from USB to mc
through it. or you can stash it in CD-RW and paste it in MC.

i got online thru the japanese server just fine,but the game seems 2 be asking maybe for a payment..but i dont mind paying for it it's just i dont know japanese(kanji)so i just left it alone......
2 anyone who reads this,,do u know what that online sign-ups for japanese online games are ?only 1 online jap game i have an thats KOF Maximum Impact-Online support is thru MMBB or something...and so i seen alot of online supported game box cover photos with the cero and snk.so more than likely they sign-up would be almost alike..PLEASE HELP if u can...dont mind paying for it.....
and 2 be 100% sure,,whats the latest KOF Maximum Impact thats out?

30000r1 something like that....in one of the old post a member had my version so i did it like his own an it was sooooo simple..now its a jap console,,but some jap games u have 2 pay for an some would be free...
i only have 2 online titles which is king of fighters,but i'll see if i could find some free online ones.........

Metal Gear Solid 3 is online, and it's free.
I've played in the Japanese server for a long time, even before the American version of this game came out.
And now they took down the American servers, but the Japanese servers are still running, so I'm thinking of going back to the Japanese game.
