psp slim core release date for U.S.?

anybody know when the slim piano black core is going to be released? i've checked the stores near me a few hours ago, and one gamestop employee said that it's in shipment, but no date is set. he said it should be shipped before the ceramic white star wars edition is released.

hopefully it's being released during this week.

hmm my friend told me october 8... but tbh i really dunnt no the launch has been kinda unstable...i found out 2 days late that the slim was released (daxter pack)... so yeah.

i just found out that fry's has them in stock. i guess their originals are out of stock now. gonna get me one tomorrow, hopefully.

hmm sony mustve authorized it... hwow here in canada tho some stores are far behind.... i went to futureshop yesterday and did NOT see the psp slim (not even the bundle)... i think only best buy has it... outta 4 stores ive been to (eb games, costco, futurshop and best buy) only best buy had it.
