I'm totally new to the Wii.I don't know if the Wii remote uses AA batteries or a Nintendo made battery that's rechargeable.I know the question sounds dumb but I don't want to waste batteries like I did with my PS2 controller.Thanks!!

Remote uses 2 Double A batteries and you can get docking rechargable batteries but i dont think nintendo makes them, but there pretty cheap. Probably around $30AUD for standard ones.

i bought an intec charge station lights up blue kinda cool but SUCKS!!!!! The battires last about 2.5 hours each charge. What i did was bought aa rechargeables with high M.A.h rating you want nimh not nicd mine are rated 2600 and last about a week and a half with 3 hours of play a day or more best thing I have done
