Install instructions:

- Copy the program to /PSP/GAME/UPDATE
- If you have 1.50 addon, make sure you have the kernel of game folder configured to 3.71, or the
program will not even start.
I'm a noob. I recently updated my cf to 3.71m33 with the 1.50 kernel addon; reading through the instruction above, however, I'm confused as to how I should change the kernel of the game folder to 3.71. Could anybody please enlighten me? Thanks.

- There was a bug that caused corruption when writing files of more than 32256 bytes using usb flash

im not sure what that means but is that why my isos didnt work on 3.60m33 when i went over that limit on the 4gb memory stick?

you can configure it at the recovery mode..
1. hold the power for about 5-10seconds to shutdown the psp fully. then turn it on holding the R trigger. then your in recovery mode
2. go to configuration-> Game folder homebrew (currently: 3.71 kernel) if you see it like this there's nothing to do with it amymore if it is on 1.5 kernel press X
3. go back to the main menu and exit
4. after doing it all just follow the instructions given by Dark Alex

you need to be running custom firmware on your psp. you have sony official 3.71. the update was meant for psp's running 3.71 m33.

i think the next update for the psp slim should include iso/cso cache into the memory, like the umd cache. unless it already does that.

ps2: v7 scph-39001 - independence exploit - hdloader 0.8c - maxtor 300gb hdd
(+[__]%) psp slim ta-085v1: 6.60 PRO B10
wii (powered by bootmii/priiloader): 4.1u - d2x v10beta53-alt (base 56) - configurable usb loader v70r51/devolution r188 - wd scorpio black 7200rpm 320gig w/ ams venus ds2 enclosure

got a whole lot more to list . . .

Hi,

I'm having problem installing Dark Alex CFW 3.71 M33-2, 1.50 Kernel Add-on.

First of all my psp version is 1.50 which I just downgraded from 3.50 version.

Secondly, the instructions are to configure the GAME folder to 3.71 so the program could run. I tried holding the "R" button but it doesnt seem to boot me into recovery mode or whatever mode to configure my folder, it just starts normally...

Can anyone help me to resolve this issue so I can install a custom firmware into my psp, thanks in advance.

Hi sicdude,

I need your help again...I have read and installed CFW 3.52 M33-4, but I could not understand the instructions on how to updating to CFW 3.71 M33.

this is the part I dont understand: - Copy the UPDATE directory into /PSP/GAME/UPDATE and copy the EBOOT.PBP of the 3.71 Sony updater

there but with name "371.PBP". Note: the program will not even show if you copy it to a different folder than that.

- If you are in the fat psp, make sure you have configured the psp to run the game folder in the 3.XX kernel.

which update file am I putting into the update? is it the 3.71 update file or the update file that is in 3.71 M33? Also do I have to create an UPDATE file into the GAME directory?

Sorry for the many questions...I'm confused here...

What go wrong? is the eboot file corrupted? Imma downloaded again and retry...any help would be appreciated.
