So my computer has a Tv Tuner card and has audio input (Red and White RCA jacks on the front) and it will not recognize them as inputs. If some one could help me that would be awesome
Well, give me a little help, and let me know if anything else works with the inputs. Have you tried hooking anything else to it, such as a DVD player or satellite dish? Never rule out that the computer could be at fault.
Sorry No i have never tried anything other than the xbox. and no i have the video run through the composite inputs in my flat panel moniter
hope that helps
With that sound card and speakers you will get TRUE surround sound out of your PC. The 360 would just be great stereo sound. The speaker set have an RCA to headphone jack "Y" cable you would use to run the 360 into the speaker set. The picture would of course either have to be hooked directly to the monitor with component cables or VGA unless you got a switcher box, or a good video card with two VGA inputs like the XFX GeForce 7600GT
thanks but what im looking to find out is whether or not i can use the two rca jacks on the front of my desktop to run the sound through since it says audio input on them

I would try something else. See if the sound runs through. If that doesn't work, something isn't set right on your computer. I don't know much about TV tuners, but maybe it needs a specific driver?
You shouldnt be using your tuner card, atleast im not on mine,I hook the picture to monitor, and then i got a jack that came with my vga cable i pulg that into the orange jack on the back of your pc.I will try to hook my sound up to front of my pc in the jacks your talking about and i will post my results like if i needed something special.

Well I tried mine threw the front, And i cant get no sound either,so i tried a dig camera in the front inputs and nothing either,Iv'e been searching for a couple hours now trying to resolve this and i cant come up with nothing.I am assuming your prob using vista with the realtek HD manager If so try this didnt work for me but i read it did for others,Go into your hd manager settings, and to the right of were it says analog there is a yellow folder click it,then click the first box ,should say disable front panal detection. Try that and if not I would just get the jack for the rear and go that route.
