So my computer has a Tv Tuner card and has audio input (Red and White RCA jacks on the front) and it will not recognize them as inputs. If some one could help me that would be awesome

Thanks Tripp

Well, give me a little help, and let me know if anything else works with the inputs. Have you tried hooking anything else to it, such as a DVD player or satellite dish? Never rule out that the computer could be at fault.

What are you using the vga kit, or the standerd red yellow white kit that came with the xbox?

really depends on the level of sound your looking for. You best hook up would be something like these:
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16829102002
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16836121006

With that sound card and speakers you will get TRUE surround sound out of your PC. The 360 would just be great stereo sound. The speaker set have an RCA to headphone jack "Y" cable you would use to run the 360 into the speaker set. The picture would of course either have to be hooked directly to the monitor with component cables or VGA unless you got a switcher box, or a good video card with two VGA inputs like the XFX GeForce 7600GT

I would try something else. See if the sound runs through. If that doesn't work, something isn't set right on your computer. I don't know much about TV tuners, but maybe it needs a specific driver?

Well I tried mine threw the front, And i cant get no sound either,so i tried a dig camera in the front inputs and nothing either,Iv'e been searching for a couple hours now trying to resolve this and i cant come up with nothing.I am assuming your prob using vista with the realtek HD manager If so try this didnt work for me but i read it did for others,Go into your hd manager settings, and to the right of were it says analog there is a yellow folder click it,then click the first box ,should say disable front panal detection. Try that and if not I would just get the jack for the rear and go that route.
